Woven carpets documenting social and cultural upheaval in Afghanistan are the focus of Battleground: War Rugs from Afghanistan. With work from the end of the 20th century, the exhibition considers the role of creative practice in global affairs. The show, organized by the Textile Museum of Canada in Toronto, is curated by Max Allen.
