James Agrell Smith was a master engraver but also explored other media in work that retained a strong graphic presence. He was a postal worker for many years in Red Deer, where this exhibition, A Broader Picture – Drawings, Paintings and Original Prints, was first shown last year. His work is in the collections of the Alberta Foundation for the Arts, the Art Gallery of Alberta and the Glenbow Museum.
