"Gary Michael Dault"
Napoleon Brousseau, "Gary Michael Dault," 2002. Collection of the Glenbow Museum.
Through June 19, 2011, Glenbow Museum, Calgary
Through June 19, the Glenbow Museum in Calgary flips the idea of portraiture on its head. The exhibition Portraits, the latest curated show from works in the Museum’s collection, features a selection of recognizable portraits — images of people — as well as some unusual interpretations. Portraits of ideas, moments in time, and objects representing abstract concepts can all redefine the intent of portraiture.
