You Are Here Calendar 2019 Exhibition
to
District Library Gallery 1277 Lynn Valley Road, North Vancouver, British Columbia V7J 2A1
We have curated a new calendar for 2019 depicting North Shore scenes, in all of their glory. 12 local artists have produced art work to take viewers on a journey through the North Shore. The Twelve images selected for the 2019 You Are Here Calendar are lovely in the compact 10” x 14” size for your wall, but to see the originals is even better! Works featured are in various media, including acrylic, oil, watercolour, and tempera painting. You may recognize the locations depicted in the paintings; however, these talented artists have all brought their own perspective.
Calendars will be available by the end of July at CityScape Community Art Space, online, and at various retailers across the North Shore. Calendars are $20 each, with funds raised supporting the exciting North Shore Cultural Mapping Project.
These unique calendars contain 12 images created by 12 local artists depicting North Shore scenes. Proceeds from calendar sales support the North Shore Cultural Mapping Project.
Calendar pages are 10″ x 14″ (25cm x 36cm), with full colour images and lots of space to write down your important dates. The images in the calendar depict locations in the North Shore region, with a map showing where to find the spot. Holidays and religious observances included in the calendar were researched in collaboration with the North Shore Immigrant Inclusion Partnership to reflect the cultural make up of our communities.
We thank the following artists for their generosity in providing their work to support this calendar:
