Inspired by the artist’s experiences and travels, Double Vision is an exhibition of 120 paintings employing a unique and contemporary mixed media approach to representing nature, urban and human forms.  

Various painting techniques are tailored to the specific subject matter. Working from digitalized photographs printed on metallic dibond panels, oil paint is applied, moved and erased to create, conceal, reveal, contrast and complement forms, spaces and colors found in the luminous metal and static imagery. The artist’s aim is to celebrate the nuances of shifting light, the fluidity of oil paint and the sublimity of our environment.
