Greg Klassen, "LS51," Digital Print on Epson Luster, 20" x 26".
The project In-Between is a collaborative effort between the artist, Greg Klassen, and his favourite model, his daughter Morgan. In this photography-based series, artist and model collaboratively explore two related subject. They probe their reactions to human-made "constructed" environments, especially those that have "outlived" their usefulness and have either been "abandoned" or "set aside" (maintained solely for historical "value"). Simultaneously, they explore their interactions among themselves and other people with respect to their reactions within these liminal spaces.
In-Between opens June 13th at 7.30pm in the Rustad Galleria. The artist will be in attendance for the opening and reception. This event is free and open to the public.
