Kick off the holiday season starting at 5:30 p.m. in Olde Towne Okotoks. This free, fun family event includes the lighting of the community Christmas Tree, a visit with Santa, live performances, horse-drawn wagon rides, live Reindeer, a sugar shack, ice sculpture demos, a light show, craft sales, late night shopping, fire pits, carollers family activities and ends with fireworks at 9 p.m.
The Okotoks Art Gallery and Okotoks Museum will be filled with activity. Visit Santa at the gallery, help yourself to hot chocolate and cookies, make Christmas crafts at the museum, and help decorate the Tree of Warmth at the Okotoks Art Gallery with new scarves, mittens and toques. These will all be donated to local charities.
