Adorn & Dissolve is a collection of works produced by Madison Tyrell. This series of paintings explores the current social obsessions about sexuality, desire, identity, and the way we perceive one another in both physical and metaphysical spaces. The artist places herself within the narrative of the natural elements, acting as the silent witness to the amplified sexual culture of our youth. There is an investigation between the reflective sensuality that exists in both nature as biophilia and the body; how, as humans, we use space to show ego while nature holds secrets of time in quiet stillness. Through the use of landscape and object, Tyrell creates and suggests a new occupation of space. This metaphysical idea calls for the exploration of deconstruction and juxtaposition between the nature and mankind.
