In the Naess Gallery the paintings of Susan Bailes and Bette Lisitza share the walls. For Bette, the nest is the curvy object of attention in graphite and mixed media; Susan, using oils, maps the winding, intertwining lines of yarn. Both very adept artists create works that are sensuous, exploratory, and visually gratifying.
