More or Less Natural explores the disconnection of our manufactured world from naturally occurring phenomena. Through combining a variety of found materials at various stages of manipulation, these works subvert conventional understanding of each material’s utility and spur new conversations between them. To stimulate a dialogue between the natural, urban and domestic, these hybridized structures are materializations, openly questioning our current distance from nature as well as the impact of our manufactured surroundings.
