Myrtle-Anne Rempel is a world-renowned artist who studied at the University of the Fraser Valley, Abbotsford. She was in involved in two major car accidents, and after spending many years in hospitals, often facing death as well as pain and loneliness, she picked up her paintbrushes.
This book is a synopsis of her and her husband’s (and family’s) life, from early childhood to the challenges they faced. Ed Rempel built a hugely successful business (including Rempel Bros. Concrete) in the years of a pro-union environment. Both Myrtle-Anne and Ed faced many highs and lows in their lifetimes, and this book will challenge you to overcome your own obstacles. Myrtle-Anne has served on the Board of the Crystal Gala Foundation, The Reach Gallery Museum and the Federation of Canadian Artists.
