Barbara Hull Chan, "Fantasy-mini," for the exhibition "Natural Power."
Nature gives me a feeling of peace and helps put life into perspective. My earliest years were spent in the wilderness of Northern British Columbia; we lived in logging camps. The experiences of my earliest years strongly influence the subject of my paintings - only trees, water, mountains, sky, flora and space - and I try to capture the spirit within. I’m hoping the paintings will give people peace, tranquility, inspiration and an appreciation for the creative force behind our world.
Opening Reception will be held on October, 19th from 1pm to 4pm.
