The 17th Annual LOOK Show
The Community Arts Council of Greater Victoria is pleased to host The 17th Annual LOOK Show. This yearly exhibition is widely recognized as one of Victoria's premier art shows thanks to its inclusive community based approach. Featuring artists of all levels and disciplines, this year's LOOK show is proving to be one of the best to date.
The eagerly anticipated show opens with a preview reception to the public on Saturday, March 19th from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at the Bay Centre, third level, located next to Club Monaco. Featuring an impressive array of works of art by local artists and artisans of varied disciplines, The LOOK Show is a non-juried locally curated show designed to highlight not only the exceptional quality but the diversity of the local arts scene.
The show runs from March 19th until April 10th, 2016 and will receive over 300 visitors a day. Featuring on-site art demonstrations, volunteer performances by local musicians, dancers, poets and spoken word artists, the CACGV takes pride in hosting an event designed to bridge the gaps between all the members of the local arts community.
The 17th Annual LOOK Show Visual Arts Celebration is proudly sponsored by the Community Arts Council of Greater Victoria in partnership with The Bay Centre. The LOOK Show receives artwork from across the community and there is no jurying process to select the works. Experienced and emerging artist alike are welcome.
