Kristina Fiedrich, "E is for Embodiment (from Open Wide: An Abecedarium for the Great Digestive System by Randy Lee Cutler)", watercolour & gouache on paper, 16x20"
'Under my skin , a splendor of organs ' is a solo exhibition of works by Vancouver based artist Kristina Fiedrich. As an alumna of TRU (BFA, 2005), the exhibition explores a decade of the artist’s studio-based practice that investigates the capricious subjective body. Highlighting the process and progress of an extended body of work, this exhibition includes drawings, sculpture and animation, illuminating the trajectory of the artist’s emergent practice. The exhibition at the TRU Art Gallery provides the first extensive solo show of Fiedrich’s artistic practice in her hometown and alumni gallery.
"This exhibition is presented in tandem with The Body Eclectic: exploring the diversity of bodily being at Thompson Rivers University, March 11-13th 2016."
