Opened in 1982 as an on-campus site for students and local artists to exhibit their work, the Alma Mater Society Art Gallery supports all exhibitions in the field of contemporary art. The gallery provides a venue for UBC’s fine arts program, as well as serving students, researchers, and the public on local and national levels.
