Opening Reception: Thursday, May 17 at 4 p.m.

Our students are at the core of Calgary's creative community. Each year our graduates go on to transform their field and endeavour through their creative process, becoming important voices in the worlds of art and design in Calgary and around the world. We are proud to celebrate the remarkable work of this year’s graduating class and look forward to welcoming you to the 2018 ACAD Grad Show.  Prepare to be surprised, awed and inspired by these talented and energetic creators.

Alberta College of Art + Design’s (ACAD) and its Illingworth Kerr Gallery (IKG) will celebrate and showcase the Class of 2018 at the annual ACAD Grad Show. The exhibition offers the opportunity to view the work of graduating students from ACAD’s Ceramics, Drawing, Fibre, Glass, Jewellery + Metals, Media Arts + Digital Technologies, Painting, Photography, Print Media, Sculpture and Visual Communication Design programs. This year, nearly 200 graduating students, including the recipients of ACAD’s Board of Governors Graduating Student Awards, will present their work in the IKG and throughout the institution.
