The Alberta Society of Artists invites all Alberta artists (must be 18 years or older) to submit to the upcoming exhibition, 2025 Lunar New Year Celebration at the Walterdale.

Deadline for Submissions is Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

We are looking for a group of artists who are interested in exploring the animal symbols of the Lunar zodiac, for an exhibition at the Walterdale Theater. The exhibition will run February 5 – 15, 2025 (opening Tuesday February 4th from 7pm to 8pm, followed by a preview of the play) in conjunction with the play “King of the Yees” and the beginning of the Year of the Snake. The exhibition will include approximately 20 two-dimensional works in any media focusing on the 12 symbolic animals of the Asian zodiac.
