Gallery Merrick is delighted to present a dynamic duo exhibition featuring the vibrant works of Seoul-based South Korean artist Yool Kim and Victoria and New York-based artist Noah Becker. This engaging showcase brings together two distinct artistic voices that explore the human figure through contrasting yet complementary lenses.

Yool Kim's mixed media creations delve into themes of identity and the subconscious while employing a maximalist approach. Her figurative compositions often feature overlapping faces and impulsive mark-making, reflecting her inner thoughts and emotions. Through dizzying body movements, Kim expresses her personal journey of self-expression.

Noah Becker, a multifaceted artist and jazz saxophonist, brings a contemporary twist to classical portraiture. His oil paintings depict fashionable figures with bold colours and stylized forms. Becker's works challenge traditional notions of portraiture, offering a fresh perspective on the human form and its symbolic meanings.
