Local artist Deborah Cameron has been experimenting with layering images in Photoshop for the past eight years.
Describing her work, Deborah shares, "My process is random in nature. I begin with textured backgrounds of photographs I have taken over the years. While some images contain three or four layers that I have filtered and manipulated others are more complex, comprised of dozens of layers. The final images are not straightforward photographs but rather a layering of images resulting in a reimagined landscape. The majority of the single images are taken with my iPhone. Subject matter is floral in nature with textures of water, trees, landscapes and ice incorporated into the layers to create something completely new."
