Western Front presents...Adults Are So Last Year!
Saturday June 1, 12 - 5pm
Artists and musicians have been commissioned to create works and participatory projects in all mediums and for all ages. The best part is, it’s free! This annual event highlights the work of local artists across music, media and visual art, allowing families to connect with the kind of art and music programs that take place year-round at Western Front.
Visitors are invited to participate in a collaborative weaving project with Roxanne Charles using recycled materials.
Sound artist Alanna Ho will lead an exploration of sounds made by everyday objects. Gamelan Bike Bike will have their musical playground set up outside the Western Front. Artist Gabi Dao will create a foley station where kids can explore making film sound effects.
Plus, we'll be serving up grilled bratwurst from D-Original Sausage Co and scoops of Earnest Ice Cream on our back deck!
