In this series, A Room In The Clouds, artist Andrea Soos hopes to create imagined worlds for visual exploration. The composition of these pictures evolves as a visceral exercise where Soos creates unique and interesting spaces on each canvas. Stimulating colour, gestural mark-making and natural patterning are all factors in the final pieces, which aim to elicit curiosity and joy in the viewer. Greatly inspired by music, the paintings have the ability to sing and drift off the canvas in a lyrical fashion.
