The Tin Man Was a Dreamer: Allegories, Poetics and Performances of Power
To kick off the Vancouver Art Gallery's new series of online gatherings, Art Connects, Grant Arnold, Audain Curator of British Columbia Art, and Mandy Ginson, Assistant Curator, will provide an in-depth look into what would have been the Gallery’s newest exhibition The Tin Man Was a Dreamer: Allegories, Poetics and Performances of Power, opening on March 21.
Grant and Mandy will speak to their curatorial process in bringing together recent acquisitions from the Gallery’s permanent collection to present exhibitions that deal with the contemporary issues of our time.
The discussion will be moderated by Melissa Lee, Director of Education and Public Programs, and Stephanie Bokenfohr, Adult Programs Coordinator.
