Art from the Unknown

Premier Rachel Notley invites artists to participate in Calgary’s first annual Art from the Unknown Exhibit. The show will be held at the historic McDougall Centre building from October 20-22, 2017.

Premier Notley is committed to supporting the arts community in Alberta and looks forward to showcasing Calgary and area talent in particular. This free event provides a no-cost gallery space to new and emerging artists in our community. A new and emerging artist is defined as any artist, regardless of skill level, whose primary income does not come from selling their work.

The show provides hanging space and a limited number of sculpture plinths for visual artists. This event will provide an opportunity for artists to share their work and increase their exposure within the local community.

Art from the Unknown will be held at the historic McDougall Centre building at 455 6th St SW from October 20 - 22, 2017. The event will be open to the public on the Oct 21-22nd dates.

Deadline for Applications is 9:00 am of Monday, September 25th.
