Nancy Townshend is an Alberta Centennial Medalist. She is the author of A History of Art in Alberta 1905 - 1970 (Calgary: Bayeux Arts, 2005) which includes a well referenced chapter on Marion Nicoll. Nancy's research notes on crafts in Alberta to 1970, as well as her other chapters are available through the archives at the Luke Lindoe Library, Alberta University of the Arts.
