"2023 ACT Juried Exhibition"

The ACT Art Gallery’s Annual Juried Exhibition is an open call showcase of artworks responding to a specific theme, taking place in November and December each year. The exhibition is an opportunity for emerging Lower Mainland-based artists to show their work in a gallery setting. The call allows for a wide range of mediums including painting, photography, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, textiles, and mixed media.

To Gather Together – 2023 ACT Juried Exhibition

The 2023 Juried Exhibition is To Gather Together, focusing on interrelated networks of community that bring us together. In this new chapter, many of us are revisiting relationships with friends and family and recognizing the importance of connecting through cultural and social bonds.

We encourage submissions that respond to one or more of the following questions:

• Who and where is your community?

• What does your community look like?

• What kinds of traditions or cultural practices are part of your community?

• How do you care for your community?

• What hopes do you have for your community?
