Join ceramic artist Malory Tate for an artist talk & tour of her solo exhibition, Être Fleur Bleue, on display at the Arts Centre from July 12 - August 9, 2018.
Malory Tate is the Port Moody Arts Centre 2017-18 Ceramic Artist in Residence and BFA graduate from NSCAD University. Inspired by historical art movements like the Baroque and the Rococo period, Malory aims to shift our contemporary mind-set back to a place of sentimentality and romanticism. Être Fleur Bleue, a French expression of romantic sentimentality, is a body of work that delicately restores meaning in objects and brings viewers back to a time of elegance.
The evening will include a talk and slide show from the artist, followed by a tour through the exhibition space.
