"Interiors," ASA Call for Submissions

The Alberta Society of Artists invites Alberta artists (18 years of age or older) to submit to “Interiors", a travelling exhibition featuring two-dimensional art.

Deadline for Submissions is April 3, 2023.

“We all live in interior spaces whether it be in an urban or rural environment. We probably spend half of our lives there. We also observe the exterior of other people’s interior environments. These experiences can become metaphors for ourselves whereby we examine our interior spaces.”

"Interior" can be interpreted in many ways, including the personal or the universal. The artist's statement will be crucial to the understanding of the artwork's intent in this exhibition call. A catalogue may be produced (note that the catalogue may be virtual or/and actual.)

Media range is open, pieces must be two-dimensional with a maximum size of 36" in any direction. Exhibition locations are: Crowsnest Pass Public Art Gallery: June 10 - July 9, 2023, and Western GM Gallery, Drumheller: October 2023.
