Beyond the Surface group exhibition with works by Olga Campbell, Janice Beaudoin, Dorothy Doherty, Jane McDougall and Ellen Pelto.
Five artists attended a workshop in the summer of 2019. These mixed media paintings are the result, and the materiality and process are evident in the work. The work has a sense of history and mystery: there are things hidden, then revealed. In art, as in life, it is worthwhile to look beyond the surface.
