Birds have been loved by people forever. And Blackbirds are even more so as they are represented in so many cultures and with so many different meaning. Some say intuition and protection or even death and bad luck. It all depends on the viewer.
We put a call for artists out to see what the world would bring us and what came forward was nothing less than intriguing and beautiful. The exhibition represents these majestic creatures in forged metal, paint, ink, pencils, ball point pens, and found materials.
