“Between IV” explores overlapping themes of progression, strength, struggles, and growth. The exhibition includes twelve artists presenting over 20 works. These emerging artists demonstrate advanced technical skill in a variety of artistic mediums, including paintings, drawings, prints, installations, sculpture, ceramic works, and photography. The exhibition is curated by Jessie Jannuska, a recent graduate of the Bachelor of Fine Arts Program at BU, as part of a mentorship in conjunction with the Aboriginal Curatorial Collective. “Between IV” will include artwork by Melanie Barnett, Lee Beaton, Tim Brown, Albyn Carias, Rebecca Driedger, Shannon Guimond, Mao Guolixuan, Annette Henderson, Kathy Metelski, Lori Ore, Franchesca Hebert Spence, and Linda Aleta Tame.
