Exposed canvas has a bad reputation. Criticized for being raw, lazy and unfinished, Canvas Unbound challenges the notion that framing an artwork gives it more artistic weight, polish, completion. Frames are boundaries where artwork ends and the real world begins. Art needn’t end. Canvas Unbound blurs these boundaries and unleashes art into the real world.
