Tina Riche, "Caution," 2018
Opening Thursday, March 8, 2018 6-8 pm
A collection of 36 acrylic paintings by Tina Riche illustrate the vast landscapes of Canada. From the East coast of Newfoundland to the Alberta and Saskatchewan prairies, these works feature prominently land, sky, and water while animal and human play their roles–relatively small in the grand scheme of things.
Caution – what will happen? Take a beat, wait. Careful, still. Birds and landscape, wires and workers, caution and wait. One inconsequential element in the environment. Fleeting, delicate. You could just be gone, and it would be like you were never there.
