In this annual celebration of summer, Madrona Gallery showcases a collection of paintings, drawings, sculpture, and photography selected by the artists and staff of the gallery.
Featured artists in this year's exhibition include Rick Bond, Tim Pitsiulak, Ernestine Tahedl, Joe Coffey, Corrinne Wolcoski, and many others. The exhibition will rotate throughout the summer to showcase the gallery's stable of artists. A selection of historic and post-war works will be included and feature works by members of the Group of Seven, Ted Harrison, E.J. Hughes, Gordon Smith, and other works of importance from artists across the country.
A new collection of paintings are hung for the final weeks of Colours of Summer, including works by David Antonides, Rick Bond, Ernestine Tahedl, Nathan Birch and many others. A special selection of historic works are also hung in the second room including works by Emily Carr, Members of the Group of Seven and E.J. Hughes.
