Dancing Ravens Jewelry Collection
Interconnected circlets of ravens dancing around a wrist, a pendant of argillite salmon swimming around ruby roe, or an anklet adorned with blueberries; these are a few of the delights offered in our 2021 jewellery collection.
Among the treasures being offered this year are Corey Moraes’s traditional hand-engraved and oxidized Eagle bracelet and his Salmon pendant, and his new series of laser-cut earrings and pendants. Likewise, we have a beautiful Salmon pendant by Andrew Williams, Terrance Campbell has contributed a lovely cutaway Wolf Bracelet, and among Walter Davidson’s work is a charming gold Frog Wrap Ring. Of course Hollie Bartlett’s work in silver and gold is exquisite in the quality of line she achieves, and she has evolved her imagery in new, fluid forms that take her work up to the next level.
This year we are also delighted to be presenting the work by some artists new to us, such as Tiffany Vanderhoop’s gorgeous beaded earrings with brass details; Jennifer Younger’s Blueberries pendant, Salmon Egg Bracelet and her Rain Forest Earrings made from heat-patinated copper and spruce root. Tsimshian artist Morgan Asoyuf has brought us silver “salmon bone” earrings with pearls, butterfly earrings and a Hummingbird Pendant with garnet and diamond. We are also happy to be showing work by Grant Pauls, whose laser-cut silver earrings and pendants are often overlaid with 18k gold elements. This trove is rounded out with pieces by Inuit artists, such as Damien Iqualla’s stud earrings made from fossilized mammoth tooth, Lavinia Van Heuvelen’s delicate copper earrings and silver ulu necklace, Sandy Maniapik’s miniature antler earrings and pendants, Greg Morgan’s Polar Bear necklace, and Mathew Nuqingaq’s beautiful horn necklace in the form of an amauti.
All works are available immediately.
