DeAnna is a Canadian multi-media artist and singer/songwriter based in Vernon, BC. Her creative journey has been marked equally by a fusion of art and music. DeAnna graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Regina.
This body of work, created over the past year, symbolically explores the challenges and moments of darkness encountered throughout DeAnna's life's journey. Through this collection she expresses her connection to nature and faith which has brought resilience, peace and hope during times of familial loss and adversity. Her love for art and music serves as a powerful medium to convey these experiences, reflecting both gratitude, renewal and healing.
In this exhibition she invites viewers to explore the themes of growth and resilience, emphasizing that life's challenges offer opportunities for learning and transformation. DeAnna hopes to inspire the viewers to embrace both the dark and light aspects of their own journeys, with the understanding that we can all find hope, inspiration, and faith in whatever brings us peace and joy.
