Join us for our annual Deer Lake Summer Arts Festival, returning on Saturday, July 26, 12 pm - 4:30 pm. This event promises to be an unforgettable afternoon of art, music, food, and celebration in the heart of Burnaby.
Hosted at Deer Lake Gallery on the unceded ancestral territory of the Coast Salish peoples, this free, one-day festival features a rich blend of live performances, visual art exhibitions, creative workshops, artisan vendors, a beer garden, and food vendors.
This event honours a diversity of talent and creative expression, with a special focus on the enduring influence and artistic contributions of Indigenous Peoples to both traditional and contemporary art, music, and craft. From emerging voices to established artists, it is a vibrant celebration that invites us to reflect on the stories, songs, and lands that continue to shape where we stand today.
π Please help us spread the word about this empowering event!
With generous support from the City of Burnaby and Beedie, this yearβs festival promises meaningful experiences for all ages.
