Reflecting God’s Creation is a series of oil and acrylic landscape, seascape and floral paintings that evoke a sense of joy and peace.
Douglas Rae started to paint as a teenager, after receiving a starter gift set of oils. He dabbled in painting for a few years but became more serious after taking a workshop with Irene Poskitt and attending two advanced courses with the Federation of Canadian Artists. He continued to refine his skills by attending workshops led by artists like Alan Wylie, Howard Carr and Mike Syob. His work has been shown across Canada and sold in the U.S.A, China, Taiwan and Chile.
