Nine Metro Vancouver-based artists explore the "new normal" in the post-epidemic era. The progress of artificial intelligence and synthetic biology, human cell regeneration, and virtual reality and augmented reality will soon be integrated into human life. Humans are facing an era of new and old productivity and may experience changes in ethics and the reshaping of moral norms soon. The artists lead us to think deeply, and in the dreamlike "reality", they can achieve "nostalgia" or foresight through their works of art. The exhibition features painting, drawing, sculpture, assemblage, fibre art, ceramic, and digital prints by Daniil Alikov, Sally Clark, Mallory Donen, Anyuta Gusakova, Sofiya Mukhachova, Maude Ren, Sabine Simons, Grace Tao, and Guo Yan.

Special Viewing During the Richmond Art Walk: "Dream Mechanism" will be featured prominently during the Richmond Art Walk (www.richmondartwalk.com) on August 17th and 18th. This event is a vibrant celebration of art and culture within our community, providing a unique opportunity to engage with the artists and their works amidst the lively atmosphere of Richmond’s art district.
