Meet the Artists: Saturday, May 19, 2-3 p.m.
The Ferry Building Gallery at 1414 Argyle Ave, West Vancouver is pleased to present Dreamscapes, a mixed media exhibition that showcases artwork by 3 local artists, Margot Beauchamp, Ray Bradbury and Shakun Jhangiani.
Margot Beauchamp has studied art at Emily Carr University, University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University and at the St. Ives School of Painting in England. She works in acrylic, oil, watercolor, gouache and occasionally in 3D.
Ray Bradbury holds a B.A. in Architecture from Manchester University. His work consists mostly of abstracts or semi-abstracts with landscape, building or life-form subjects. When not painting he is a wilderness volunteer, mainly protecting the forested parks of the North Shore.
Shakun Jhangiani’s signature style and distinctive use of mixed media is well known and easily recognizable in all of her abstract paintings. She has a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Economics and Education and is largely a self-taught artist.
