Eiko Jones, "Cloud of Tadpoles," 2012

The Campbell River Art Gallery is pleased to showcase new and existing works of the award-winning, internationally acclaimed photographer Eiko Jones from June 13^th through the 27^th in our Art Gallery Gift Shop. 

Pieces will be available to purchase at special event pricing. We are thrilled to share with you the wonderful news that Mr. Jones’ 2012 piece “Cloud of Tadpoles” will be sold exclusively in limited numbers by National Geographic Fine Art Galleries in addition to being included in their Fine Art Travelling Exhibition. 

We will be displaying “Cloud of Tadpoles” over the course of the showcase. 

In celebration of Eiko’s success, the Art Gallery will be kicking off the Artist Showcase with a reception and meet-and-greet with the artist on Wednesday, June 13^th from 6 to 8 pm in the lobby of the Art Gallery and Visitor’s Centre. Hors d’oeuvres will be served. Drinks will be available for purchase. All ages are welcome at this event.  

This is a unique opportunity to explore the depth of this extraordinary photographer and writer who uses his work to champion ecosystem protection, drawing attention to and celebrating the importance of environmental stewardship. He has worked with wild salmon and local watershed issues, matters closely synced to the heartbeat of our local populace and the land we love.
