Join us for dinner and conversation in the Pioneer room (above the Banff Public Library) where Indigenous leaders and changemakers will speak to the reintroduction of bison in Banff and North America while exploring what this means for past, present, and future generations. This Indigenous led panel includes Douglas Kootenay, Ellery Starlight, Diandra Bruised Head, Barry Wesley, and moderated by Marie-Eve Marchand. Panelists will discuss the unique relationship each nation shares with the bison and examine what the future of the bison may be. A bison dinner will be prepared by Phillomene Stevens and Damian Liengme from Mountain Fire Foods. Tickets are for registration only. Donations gratefully accepted at the door.
