The Great Outdoors exhibition brings joy to mountain lovers and all big kids at heart. Mixing the art of cartography, abominable snowmen and colourful painted works this mixed medium display is aimed to engage the viewer to dream about the landscape that is beyond what we can see. Sneak away to visit a land inhabited by a huggable yeti, whimsical mountain beast themed art as well as artistic renderings of Alberta’s cartographic landscape. RISE Emerging Artist Program:
The RISE Emerging Artist Program offers three Alberta artists each year the opportunity to educate, exhibit, sell, and promote their artistic practice within the Bow Valley. Each RISE artist is paired with an artist mentor from the Bow Valley who helps guide the artist with preparation, planning and instillation of their exhibition; as well as their artist talk. RISE exhibitions are free and open to the public.
