BRANDI HOFER: GUS - an art series created by mother and son

This deeply personal series was created with the artist’s two-year-old son, Gus. The portraits are mothers and fathers photographed by the artist, intended to project strength, integrity, love and the struggle of what it takes to be a parent. This series is a celebration of motherhood, parenthood and the sheer innocence of being playful.

One wall in the gallery will be dedicated to the images from the documentation of the making of the series. On the floor in front of the image wall there will be paper spread out and drawing media for children and adults to create their own pieces.
