Director Yuri Arajs had been carrying around two boxes of very esthetically pleasing vintage envelopes for over 25 years waiting for the right project, and this turned out to be it.

Last summer Outsiders and Others started to distribute hundreds of vintage envelopes to artists locally and around the world. We mailed them to Centres and artist studios, and handed them out in person at the gallery.

Since then we have received over 100 art covered envelopes back in the mail! Most from across Canada, but a large number from the United States, England, and Europe. Every envelope we received is in the exhibition. We have envelopes illustrated by 3 yr old artists as well as  ones painted by mature artists who regularly show in galleries. This will be a very fun exhibition to see in person.

All Envelopes will be for sale for $20 each on a first come basis.
