Janis Woode recounts her inspiration for ‘The Spell Checker’  “It always happens when in a hurry. The spell check kicks in and the next thing you know the nonsensical appears. Try and correct it and it happens again. I have in moments of frustration thought there must be a little troublemaker inhabiting our devices that derives great joy out of sending our conversations sideways. I call him the spell checker.”
