Loch Gallery is delighted to present "FRAMED", an exhibition of the most recent paintings by internationally renowned high realist painter John Hall.
John will be discussing his work in the Calgary gallery at 12:30pm on Saturday, May 5th.
"FRAMED” is a series of work depicting framed paintings that, fully embrace the conventions of trompe l’oeil painting. Hall wants viewers to first believe that they’re looking at framed paintings and only on closer inspection realize that the frame is painted and an integral part of the painting.
