In celebration of Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation, John Vickers has illustrated one poster for each of Canada’s national parks, proposed national parks and national marine conservation areas. The fifty-four posters acknowledge the early twentieth-century tradition of printing and posting large, full-colour posters promoting travel to Canada’s national parks to Canadians and the world. The exhibition enlightens Canadians as to the number of national parks within Canada and their diverse environmental and geographical makeup.
