turning inward:
A voice behind the curtain,
Moving, directing the limbs.
Attempts at carving new pathways.
The words fail, sticky, garbled text.
She picks up only fragments,
Spinning shards into heavy fabricated delusions.
Even though I have strong legs there is still something fundamentally stupid about the inner sides of my knees.
She was bucked off a horse at camp. She chose the black horse standing further in the field than the other horses. Lov says this with embarrassed significance, the type to eclipse a straight magnetism. As her body flew into the air, the night latch joining them pulled the horse back in the same motion, falling on top of her. She was concussed. Her friends told her what happened, what she ate that morning.
