Propel by Larissa Blokhuis
"Seeds leave home, propelled by wind or water. Many seeds may travel the same path to an unknown destination. New communities are forged, windows to the recent or distant past. It is not known yet how long each seed can survive, but some are known to last 31,500 years before sprouting."
After completing her BFA with a major in glass at the Alberta College of Art + Design, Larissa Blokhuis moved to the coast temporarily to take a job as a glassblower on Granville Island. Once establishing a presence on Granville Island, Larissa began pursuing opportunities throughout Western Canada. She has exhibited extensively in Alberta and British Columbia.
