Larry Weaver is an artist, retired educator, and incredible friend currently living with his wife, Nina, in Lethbridge, Alberta. A small group of his former University of Lethbridge students have deemed it important to celebrate Larry’s work and the stories that created a legacy of art in this province and beyond. Larry’s deeply felt responsibility to share his wisdom over years has inspired generations of artists and craftsmen. Those artists exhibiting alongside him shared this remarkable journey during the late 1960s and through the 1970s when the Art Department at the University of Lethbridge was a hub of creative energy and innovation.
